Job Title: Electrician

Department: Service, Surface Mining

Reports to: Project in Change - NCL

Location: Singrauli area M.P, India

Salary - 3.4 LPA

Role: For execution of the contract for 2300XPC AC shovel

Major Responsibilities:

• Maintain high level of safety and security standards and focus through the establishment of safe operating procedures, providing PPE and conducting regular safety meetings at the project site.
• Work in close coordination with Project in Charge - NCL located at Singrauli.
• Work in close coordination with other departments for desired results.
• Attending to various service matters pertaining to various Joy Global surface mining equipment that would include machine inspection, trouble shooting, component repairs.
• Any other job that may be assigned by the Project in Charge NCL, from time to time.

Skills & Experience

• Preferably ITI/+2 pass in Electrical stream 4~5 years’ experience preferably in construction/mining products including exposure to Shovels, Dumpers and loaders hydraulics.
• Understanding and work experience in Heavy Mining Machinery component repair will be an added advantage
• Exposure to AC/DC drives, AC motors, Generators, and pneumatics is a must.
• Understanding and work experience in 6.6 KV will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of planned preventive and predictive maintenance is a must
• Should be hands on the machine components
• Basic Computer knowledge will be an added advantage
• Good Troubleshooting skills is required
• Age below 40 years preferably
• Establishing good rapport with customers & peers.
• Good understanding of customer expectations.
• Good communication skill is preferred.
