Job Description
- Key responsibilities:
- Research potential vendors, Compare and evaluate offers.
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery ensuring quality of purchased products.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices in the internal system (SAP).
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Essential Attributes:
- Vendor Management
- Understanding of purchasing software (e.g. Procurify or SpendMap)
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Analytical skills
- Negotiation skills
- SAP working knowledge
- Desired Attributes:
- Decision Making Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Profile: Candidate with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals or Nutritional Operations.
- Qualification: Bachelor s degree in any Engineering or Masters degree in any stream.
