Team Leader (Shopify)

What is the work?

• Develop and maintain high-quality eCommerce websites on Shopify, leveraging Shopify 2.0 and headless architecture.
• Lead and mentor a team of Shopify developers, providing guidance, support, and technical direction.
• Work closely with clients in the presales phase to understand requirements, offer solutions, and prepare project estimates.
• Design and develop custom Shopify apps, both public and private, using Node.js and React.js, to extend Shopify functionality based on client needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative eCommerce solutions that enhance user experience and performance.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance are followed across all Shopify projects.
• Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize sites for speed, security, and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, apps, and integrations, advising on best practices and ensuring that all sites align with current eCommerce trends and standards.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

• Proven experience in developing and deploying eCommerce solutions using Shopify and Shopify Plus, with a strong understanding of Shopify 2.0.
• Proficient in developing custom Shopify themes and functionality, with hands-on experience in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Extensive experience in developing custom public and private Shopify apps using Node.js and React.js.
• Expertise in a headless Shopify approach and experience with APIs, data flow, and third-party integrations.
• Strong knowledge of best practices for SEO, accessibility, and web performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage in presales discussions and translate client requirements into technical specifications.
• Leadership skills with a track record of guiding, mentoring, and developing team members.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable eCommerce solutions.
