Team Leader - in UK Accounts

You will get the opportunity to work in the quality control department servicing CA firms & SME clients operating in the UK.

Job Description:

• Review of Financial Statements & working papers produced by the team.
• Analytical review of Management Accounts & Financial Statements including reporting on variances.
• Ensuring that the disclosure requirements of FRS 102, 102 (1A) and 105 are complied with.
• Finalisation and Review of corporate tax computations and returns.
• Resolving Team queries & assisting them in preparing complex / difficult accounts.
• Identify training requirements within the team and conduct periodic training / feedback sessions in consultation with Line Manager.
• Liaising with Clients with regard to information and data requests and timely delivery of Accounts.

Skills and Experience required:

• Excellent Knowledge of UK Companies Act, VAT, PAYE, CT and FRS.
• Excellent knowledge of applications like CCH, IRIS, Digita , Sage line 50, XERO, Quick-books etc
• Strong communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong Analytical and problem solving skills

Qualification:

Accounting Technician / ACCA with minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the BPO industry. Candidates pursing these professional qualifications with relevant experience are also welcome to apply
