Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our Accounting and Audit team in a dynamic management consulting environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and auditing, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage and lead a team effectively. This role requires a professional who can interface with clients confidently and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Understand client needs and expectations, providing tailored solutions and ensuring satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client meetings to discuss progress, present findings, and offer recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and financial statements to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants and auditors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
- Allocate tasks and manage team workload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assignments.
- Monitor team performance and conduct regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Audit and Accounting Oversight : - Oversee the planning and execution of audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Review financial statements, audit reports, and other deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and assess risks, implementing appropriate control measures and recommendations for process improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes, ensuring the team s knowledge and practices remain current.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency within the team and client engagements.
- Implement best practices in accounting and audit procedures, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery.
Qualifications : - Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Qialified).
- 5+ years of experience in accounting and auditing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. - Proven ability to manage and lead a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity and ethical standards. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
