Job Description: Senior Accountant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Senior Accountant to manage and oversee all aspects of accounting, compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in account finalization, financial analysis, GST, TDS, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the organization adheres to all financial and legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Finalization:

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review and reconcile accounts, including ledgers and balance sheets.
• Collaborate with auditors for statutory audits and internal compliance reviews.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
• Provide detailed reports and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage intercompany transactions and consolidations.

GST Compliance:

• Preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
• Reconciliation of GST input/output and resolving mismatches.
• Ensuring timely payment of GST liabilities and adherence to regulatory updates.

TDS Management:

• Calculation and deduction of TDS as per applicable laws.
• Filing quarterly TDS returns and issuing Form 16/16A to vendors and employees.
• Addressing notices and queries from tax authorities related to TDS.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with corporate laws, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Assist in preparation and submission of reports to regulatory bodies.
• Stay updated on amendments in tax laws and accounting standards.

Team Collaboration:

• Coordinate with other departments for smooth financial operations.
• Mentor and support junior accountants in daily tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background:
  
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA/ICWA/M.Com certification preferred.
• Experience:
  
• 5+ years of proven experience in accounting and compliance roles.
• Expertise in account finalization, financial analysis, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.
• Technical Skills:
  
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks).
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial modeling.
• Soft Skills:
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
