Assistant Manager - Purchase (Flexible Packaging)

Overview:

Looking for an accomplished and experienced person for this position, who will take care of day-to-day activity & overall Purchase and commercial for Flexible Packaging.

Role & responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading, supervising and managing all aspects of purchase activities for the organization.
• Should be good at sourcing material and selection of vendors.
• Budget and Forecast Material Procurement as per the MRP
• Managing purchases of all kinds of materials related to execution & finishing of projects.
• Responsible for preparation of material - wise purchase strategy based on material type and specifications.
• Should be good at sourcing material and selection of vendors.
• Facilitate negotiations and contracts with subcontractors and other vendors.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Ensure compliance of all formalities for Import of Materials
• Coordination with the project team and vendor is a must.
• Supplier Management, Strategic Planning, Forecasting.
• Should be an expert in construction materials procurement.
• Must be well versed with ERP system, Microsoft Office, email to generate reports and leading the team.

Desired candidate profile:

The candidate should be having in-depth knowledge of Purchase, good communication skill, should have experience in purchase. Should possess extensive technical knowledge about the materials procured in the industry and well versed with Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development, Cost Analysis is must. 07 to 8 years experience in Purchase and commercial in Flexible Packaging Domain.
