About Us:
Traya is an Indian direct-to-consumer hair care brand platform provides a holistic
treatment for consumers dealing with hairloss. The Company provides personalised consultations that help determine the root cause of hair fall among individuals, along with a range of hair care products that are curated from a combination of Ayurveda, Allopathy, and Nutrition. Traya's secret lies in the power of diagnosis. Our unique platform diagnoses the patient's hair & health history, to identify the root cause behind hair fall and delivers customized hair kits to them right at their doorstep. We have a strong adherence system in place via medically-trained hair coaches and proprietary tech, where we guide the customer across their hair growth journey, and help them stay on track.
Traya is founded by Saloni Anand, a techie-turned-marketeer and Altaf Saiyed, a Stanford Business School alumnus.
Our Vision:
Traya was created with a global vision to create awareness around hair loss, de-stigmatise it while empathising with the customers that it has an emotional and psychological impact. Most importantly, to combine 3 different sciences (Ayurveda, Allopathy and Nutrition) to create the perfect holistic solution for hair loss patients.
About the Role:
We are seeking an innovative and entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our organization as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR). As an EIR, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth and transformation by bringing your expertise, business acumen, and fresh perspectives to the table. You will work closely with our leadership team and collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and explore new business opportunities, develop strategic initiatives, and help shape the future direction of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market gaps, and potential areas for expansion. Evaluate market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive sustainable top-line growth Identify and implement scalable opportunities to improve revenue metrics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align growth initiatives with business objectives
- First Principles Ideation and Validation: Break down complex problems to their fundamental truths to develop innovative ideas for business expansion and models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test assumptions, validate concepts through market insights, rapid prototyping, and real customer feedback. Transform validated ideas into scalable and sustainable business opportunities
- Strategy Execution: Translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable plans and drive their implementation on the ground. Collaborate closely with teams to ensure alignment, monitor progress through defined KPIs, and proactively address roadblocks. Provide regular progress updates to senior management while fostering cross-functional coordination to deliver measurable outcomes
What We're Looking For:
- Proven track record as an entrepreneur, founder, or founder's office in a startup or high growth environment.
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Demonstrated ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into actionable plans.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities, with experience in developing partnerships and collaborations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Educational Qualification :
Graduate followed with an MBA from a premium institution.
Years of Experience : 2 to 6 years of experience with consulting organization and startup industry.
