System Architect for Controller Programs - PowerDrive SystemsJob DescriptionBorgWarner Technical Center India Private Limited, a s ubsidiary of BorgWarner Inc. is looking for experienced and enthusiastic professionals in the areas of System Architecture & Requi rements Management. The Technical Lead is a key role with the systems engineering team, responsible towards planning, coordinating and ensuring delivery of ECU projects.

The Technical Lead contributes towards System Development of BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems products.Responsibilities Leads the systems development team in developing projects for ECU s of conventional and electrificatio n powertrain applications. Contributes to the overall project scope definition for controller eHW, software development including functional safety and cybersecurity aspects. Plans and schedules activities for different features and solutions of the product Defines content and priorities of systems tasks using a formal task management tool. Key contributor and supporter of the requir ements development process. Works towards enhancing and standardizing different work elements of System Development. Leads the Change Control Board on need basis and enables progression of Change Requests and Resolution of Problems/Issues. Drives systems r elated internal and externally detected issues to closure through root cause analysis, such as 8Ds. Ensures adherence of the syst em team activities to the internal ASPICE based development process. Reviews work products to ensure quality and consistency. C oordinates with the System Test Lead (SYTL) to ensure test coverage and traceability. Coordinates/Collaborates with Global teams towards Systems Engineering assignments and tasks.

 

Basic Qualifications B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Po wer Electronics or similar areas. Minimum of 8 years of experience with software function development for automotive controller programs. Experience of working within an ASPICE based process environment (or similar) Experience with MS project and a task ma nagement tool eg. Atlassian JIRA, IBM Rational RTC, Polarion etc. Knowledge of V-Model Development Methodology Knowledge of Sys tems Engineering principles.Preferred Experience Experience delivering a project with functional safety (ISO26262) requirements. Propulsion, power electronic, software or electric motor system experience.

 

 Knowledge of Cyber security (ISO 21434) Strong kno wledge of systems engineering principles and guidelines (eg INCOSE).
