Fixture Design Engineer

- Design experience in BIW welding fixtures - Good knowledge of manufacturing and assembly process - Exposure to multiple tools will be an added advantage - Experience in working on various OEM s like GM, VW, BMW, FORD, DAIMLER etc., - Experience in Teamcenter will be added advantage - Experience in GM tool kit will be added advantage - BIW Fixture design - - Concept Design (Design clamps, pin units stationary as well as retractable, slides and dumps) - Exposure to Welding Lines Process & Layout (Spot Welding, ARC welding) - Performs basic engineering calculations to verify design integrity - Create 2D manufacturing drawings and BOM - Knowledge of tolerances and materials - Read and understand GD&T drawings - Designing of BIW welding fixtures - Concept Design - 3D finish - 2D Layout & detailing - Quality check as per customer standards - Documentation as per customer standards.
