Electrical Design Lead

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for detailed designing & engineering of Electrical - including EHV / HV / LV System, heat load calculation, water & air balancing system and reviewing them.
2. Development of design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, etc.
3. Utilize AutoCAD and/or Revit for development of project plans for certain project types that may include single line diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, etc. Normal and Emergency Lighting Calculations using DIA-lux. Cable sizing, circuit breaker sizing, voltage drop calculations.
4. Prepare and revise documentation in various project phases including site plans, diagrams, and details
5. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with the design intent
6. Provide review of shop drawings and submittals, responds to RFIs, prepares site observation reports, and performs other contract administration tasks.
7. Expertise in electrical design, circuitry, and panel layout will be essential in creating efficient and reliable control panels. Lighting protection layout. Responsible for calculation of Mechanical system design & Equipment sizing, GFC drawings & technical documents review as per project requirements
8. Detailed design & Engineering of Reviewing DBR, Design Concepts & Technical Specifications. Must be thorough in Understanding the concepts and client requirements
9. Reviewing of Detailed Design Drawings, Calculations, specifications and equipment’s sizing
10. Reviewing FAT/SAT and accepting the materials for Installation. Coordination with Client and Consultants.
11. Preparation of measurement for installed electrical materials and Bill certification.
12. Managing team of Electrical design Engineer and draftsman.

Adherence to cost and time schedules with an eye on cost optimization and savings on budgeted cost and expediting work ahead of schedules.

Preferred candidate profile

1. B.E/ B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical, Min- 15 -25 yrs exp
2. Knowledge of Electrical (HT/LT) & LV systems Design and innovation skill
3. Software skills- ETAP, DIA Lux, AutoCAD, REVIT Etc

Preferred industry- Airport, Data center, industrial, big infrastructure, factory, commercial project, hospital etc.
