Role and Responsibilities :

As an architect :

- Take part in architectural discussions and workshops to define architecture of new components as well as architectural changes of existing software stack for RDK-B based networking devices

- Work with development teams to resolve architectural issues

- Technical Support for the open source community of RDK on architectural isues

- Work with development team to be in line with architectural decisions

- Propose innovative ideas and value adds to existing products

Qualifications and Education Requirements :

Must Have :

- Engineering graduate with 5+ years of experience in Embedded systems/applications

- Strong in C, C++ programming

- Good experience in developing embedded applications

- Must have worked in RDK-B based router or networking devices

- Must have Linux exposure with GDB debugging skills

- Must have knowledge in Linux based build systems

- Must have exposure to device management protocols like SNMP/ TR69/TR369 etc.

- Must have exposure to Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi mesh protocols

- Should have worked in any networking protocols

- Having Prpl / OpenWRT experience is added advantage

- Having exposure to hardware bring-up and device driver implementation is added advantage

- Should be very good in Verbal & Written Communication.

PREFERRED SKILLS :

- Jira, Git/GitHub, Coverity, Valgrind tools

- Experience of working in Media and Communication / broadcast business domain

ADDITIONAL NOTES :

- Certification in Architecture/Networking/WiFi area is plus for architect level opportunities
