Job Description

Managing Undersea Submarine cable system (consortium and TATACOM Owned) have landing stations all over India as well as NOC for Managing respective cable system In addition team manages service delivery and Service assurance of TATACOM customer and international parties.

Every function of the team runs in 24 *7 pattern in addition to having few Maintenance team members. As a team lead (SM) is responsible to track the Daily/weekly and monthly routine activities and is responsible to handle the escalations within appropriate time. Regularly training the team members o the latest technology to improve the knowledge mainly in Optic fiber system.

Should co-ordinate among the internal team of Planning , operation , NOC and service assurance team to ensure that customer services are not affected during system upgrade. Should ensure that the utility of the system element laid in filed not getting impacted by externa agencies when improvement activity is happening for the development of the city or nation.

Should be able to prepare the AOP and Cable station Budgets taking into account the estimated yearly expenses.

Consortium management and representing Tata comms interest in various consortium wrt to Operations and Maintenance

Desired Skill sets

Extensive experience in o&m and project management of submarine network technology

Consortium management and local body/statutory liasoning

Budgeting , AOP and Finance related to sub-sea operations
