Job Description

A Project Manager (PM) shall be responsible for overseeing and leading projects from inception to completion. They will be responsible for delivery & deployment of the solution. This is a tactical role which defines the direction of new solutions, processes, standards based upon business strategy or customer need, with a significant mid-term impact on business unit overall results.

The Key Responsibilities are as follows :

1. Planning and Defining Scope: Understanding new requirements/charters and analysis

Develop detailed project plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
Drives deployment of software architecture. Analyses test results post testing. Oversees go-live and guides troubleshooting.

2. Resource Management:

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.Leads discussions with cross functional teams and stake holders to evaluate feasibility, technical specifications, cost-benefit analysis, etc.

Ensure resource availability and allocation.

3. Budget Management:

Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, budget planning, and financial reporting.
Advocate for additional funding when necessary.

4. Communication:

Serve as the main point of contact for teams and stakeholders.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to executives and stakeholders.

5. Risk Management:

Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.

Desired Skill sets

Demonstrated experience and understanding in software solutions requirement analysis, and software & platform architecture, cloud environment, business concepts and processes.

Extensive experience in software and application lifecycle Management

Industry domain knowledge of key technology and industry trends

Experience in working with Agile methodology.
