Data Analytics & Integration Lead

Job Description:

An experienced leader with proven track record in leading Data strategy, governance, integration with the skills to influence at every level, imparting digital knowledge and skills in a constructive, empowering, and collaborative way. Working closely with Business Unit Leadership team to drive organization's Data transformation by taking holistic view of the organizations Data presence & lead company through its Data transformation & growth by making use of newer digital technologies viz. MES, Industry 4.0 solutions, AR/Wearables, VR, AI, Image Analytics, Blockchain, Big data & Analytics, Smart sensors, Mobility etc. Have practical experience of driving & implementing most of above digital technologies preferably in auto component / mfg. industries successfully to achieve desired business results thru’ measurable KPIs.

Role Objective:

• Formulate & execute Data strategy addressing opportunities & risks associated with it
• Communicate Data strategies, governance across company and departmental boundaries and serve as a cross-functional change agent across the organization to ensure alignment to digital strategy
• Implement Data strategy by working with cross-functional partners to map and transition traditional processes to digital ones
• Create new value through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes
• Embrace new opportunities presented by digital technologies such as social media, mobility, analytics, embedded devices etc.
• Ability to demonstrate benefits of Data strategy, Governance and Integration for the Digital transformation to decision makers
• Possess business acumen including specific know how on strategy, transformation and change management
• Understand IT applications, underlying infrastructures along with knowledge on upgrades & modifications
• Extensive understanding of digital structures & products
• Champion use of digital technology and practices to engender a Data-First mindset from the top down, educate leadership on the impact of digital technology on business with appropriate data
• Ensure collaboration, knowledge sharing, and digital best practices between partners and colleagues to help embed a robust digital ecosystem.
• Identify any technological gaps and challenges and determine how to respond to them appropriately to improve company’s performance using better Data Strategies
• Ability to make & present business case to measure ROI on digital projects, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure organization invests in right tools, technologies, and resources.
• Act as a catalyst and driver of change, bringing a new culture and mindset for Data-First, and new ways of working to the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a clearly defined and compelling Data strategy for the organization’s future success in digital endeavours.
• Keep the strategy fresh by staying up to date with industry trends, latest technological innovations, changes in competition, and shifts in the industry, and adapting to the ever-changing digital atmosphere.
• Ensure that all relevant digital initiatives are fully integrated into the strategic-planning process for leadership commitment, resource allocation and execution.
• Using Data-First approach, periodic benchmarking from auto component industries, understand current digital capabilities & gaps w.r. to benchmarking data & develop a plan to execute effectively Data Analytics strategy, with measurement of ROI and alignment with company’s overall business strategy.
• Own and centrally monitor the digital innovation project portfolio using Data-First approach and to calculate ROI & report outcomes of the initiated projects.
• Identify, Evaluate new tools & technologies – AI, AR, ML, Industry 4.0, Digital, CRM, MES, Automation tools etc., which can be used for Data Strategy, Governance, Analytics and Integration.
• Enable more effective use of online, mobile, and other digital platforms for supporting resource mobilization and growth
• Expands organization’s visibility and audience through key channels and platforms
• Introduce and implement best-in class approaches for Data/Analytics/Integration knowledge management
• Work closely with HR to attract and retain top talent, and to build digital capabilities across the company

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong domain experience of min 10-15 years in a Mfg., Engineering, Automotive industry
• Implementation experience of Data-First approach in driving business values/ROI and effective decision making
• Very good understanding & working knowledge on various business applications, ERP applications (SAP, Oracle)
• Good understanding on IT, OT infra & security
• Min 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role of designing, driving & implementing Data strategy, leading a cutting-edge digital operation with a variety of integrated capabilities
• Proven track record of leading successful digital transformation projects
• Managerial ability to lead and see programs through to fruition.
• Patience to navigate complex organizational structures, collaborate to get buy-in across functions and diplomatically challenge the status-quo and solidify relationships with a broad group of people
• Understand core business processes and associated technical solutions
• Have an innovative and disruptive mindset, constantly looking forward
• Experience managing and leading a digital team
• Proven influencing and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

An Engineering graduate from a reputed institute with additional qualifications in Data, Business Analytics, Integration, IT, or emerging digital technologies.

Additional certifications in Data Science, Data Analytics, Program mgmt., Software development, Newer digital technologies, Web development, Analytics etc. will be preferred.
