Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Channel Sales Manager to drive growth in the Agency Motor segment in Pune. This role focuses on building strong relationships with agency partners, driving motor insurance sales, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the motor insurance market and a proven track record of delivering results through channel management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Management:
    • Develop, manage, and grow a network of agency partners to achieve motor insurance sales targets.
    • Identify potential agency partners and onboard them to strengthen the channel network.
    • Conduct regular engagement activities to maintain strong relationships with existing partners.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth:
    • Drive motor insurance business growth by implementing sales strategies aligned with company goals.
    • Achieve assigned sales targets through effective partner management and direct interventions where needed.
    • Monitor and analyze partner performance to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions.
  • Partner Training & Support:
    • Provide training and development to agency partners on TATA AIGs motor insurance products, processes, and systems.
    • Support partners in client acquisition, policy issuance, and claim servicing to enhance their productivity.
  • Market Development:
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
    • Share market insights with senior management to refine product offerings and strategies.
  • Customer Service & Compliance:
    • Ensure timely resolution of partner and customer issues to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
    • Ensure all sales and operational activities comply with regulatory and company guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 23 years of experience in channel sales, preferably in the general insurance or motor insurance segment.
    • Proven ability to manage and grow agency networks.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
    • Knowledge of the Pune motor insurance market and agency ecosystem is a strong advantage.
