Key Result Areas
1 Guide implementation of data strategy and solutions in areas such as data analytics, data visualization, data modelling, data integration, data cleaning, delta lake, data pipelines and others
2 Developing database solutions to store and retrieve company information
3 Installing and configuring information systems to ensure functionality
4 Analyzing structural requirements for new software and applications
5 Responsible for ensuring migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions
6 Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
7 Define and implement organization wide, governance, security and backup procedures
8 Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements

Technical
Hands on experience in below technologies/areas.
- Data modelling
- Data management and governance
- Data services on cloud platforms (azure preferable)
- Streaming technologies (Kafka)
- Knowledge of data replication mechanisms
- Design of real time data pipelines using structured streaming (kafka)
- Design of solutions in big data ecosystem such as Hadoop, Spark
- Knowledge of RDBMS and nosql databases
- Tools and technologies: GIT (version control), SQL,Python,ETL and PySpark
Qualification
- BSc/Btech in Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data engineer, or similar role
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles
- Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
Experience
12 to 15 years of relevant IT experience
