IT Applications Support

Role & responsibilities

• As an IT Application Support, you also have administrative tasks that include all the sites of TaskUs as well as our remote users.
• Act as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails from employees regarding corporate application issues and queries.
• Responsible for troubleshooting & triaging the in-house (and cloud-based) Corporate Applications, such as HCM, FINANCIALS, Recruiting, Payroll.
• Take ownership of user problems and follow up the statuses of these on behalf of the user and communicate the progress in a timely manner.
• Maintain a high degree of customer service so all support queries must adhere to all service management principles.
• Provide training on how to effectively use the Corporate Applications tools / systems, and provide support for minor enhancements.
• Provide weekly status reports on issue trends, you must also publish supporting documents in order to assist employees with requests for information, and provide employee training if required.

Preferred candidate profile

• With 2 years minimum experience in user administration, system configuration and SQL scripting.
• Experience- 1- 2 Years exp in .Net Technology.
• Experience on some UI technologies (AngularJS, ReactJs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap,Node.js).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and good coding skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with popular web application frameworks.
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and AWS Services will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of Agile - SCRUM methodologies.
• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of Business requirements, analyzing and designing.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experienced in Debugging and Problem Solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, virtual, global environment.
• Ability to handle problems that may be straightforward to more complicated technical issues.
• We need someone who can articulate themselves well, so we need someone with good written grammar and technical skills.
• Someone who has experience in utilizing Oracle or cloud applications.
• We need someone who can conduct research and has good analytical skills because youll constantly have to look into system-related issues and products.
• We need someone who has experience with Operations Help Desk or Service Desk Support and IT Service Management. So awareness of ITIL experience on ITIL standards and best practice within operational environments would be preferred.
• Can start ASAP or within 30 days.
