Job Description
- Lead in business development activities in terms of concept/proposal writing and client relationship
- Effectively position the organization as the preferred partner of the clients and donors. Support in
- partnership building with Clients, Donors, Private Sector, Funders etc.
- Develop innovative position papers, and terms of references related to operation.
- Build the profile of organization in the sector
- Design and implement services that create health impact within the practice areas.
- Lead in project implementation with technical assistance, project reports, budgeting, and monitoring
- evaluation including client management, team, and stakeholder management.
- Conduct field visits to the project sites and provide technical assistance to improve program performance.
- Work closely with other practices, sectors and regional units in operationalizing agreed plans and
- strategies. Support them with logistics and technical inputs.
- Hold self-accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently, achieving and role modeling
- Keep up to date with the work of all the project teams, as well as the organization as a whole, in order to
- provide timely information to senior Taru staff.
- Aligning work style with established work culture and leadership team.
- Any other related activities, as assigned.
- Lead in knowledge management through writing stories, blogs, articles in newspapers/journals, etc.
- Organize and actively participate in conferences, workshops, and seminars to connect with and contribute
- Postgraduate or Professional degree in Public Health/MBBS/BDS/Health Management or any other
- discipline relevant to this role from reputed institutes
- At least minimum 2-3 years experience in the climate, health, and nutrition sector especially with national
- In-depth knowledge of global and national climate, health, wellness, and nutrition issues reflected in
- articles, papers and technical documents published.
- Preference for technical skills in health system planning and management, health economics and financing;
- policy development, research, socio-medical sciences, epidemiology, health education, health promotion
- and disease prevention, nutritional care, etc.
- Technical skills on data science tools including SPSS, Stata, Biostatistics, Python, Canva, etc.
- Proven experience in managing clients from government, private, and other sectors.
- Ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan, and execute ideas. Capacity to develop work plans, budgets,
- Proven skills in project management, quality assurance, setting standards, and monitoring.
- Demonstrated experience in actively participating in debates and influencing policies.
- High personal professional integrity. Team player and ability to work under pressure and meeting
- deadlines. Problem solving attitude. Experience of managing teams and logistics
- Excellent networking and partnership building skills.
- Good analytical, knowledge management skills including writing, presentation skills and documentation.
- Excellent fluency in English. Able to communicate clearly and sensitively with internal and external
- Attractive. The remuneration shall not be a constraint for the deserving candidate.
