JD- Finance Manager
Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the accounting, payments, and treasury functions for a fast-growing Fintech company and will lead the AP team, ensuring timely and accurate payments of company liabilities, optimizing the AP process, and working closely with vendors, procurement, and internal stakeholders.
- The Finance Manager will ensure compliance with statutory requirements (TDS, GST, MSME Act, Companies Act) and optimize cash flow management while driving financial process improvements and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.
What will you do?
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments (vendor payments, taxes) and adherence to internal control standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring effective dispute resolution and favourable terms.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, forecasting, and working capital optimization.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including TDS, GST, MSME Act, and Companies Act, and coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare and publish AP-related reports (e.g., cash flow forecasting, aging analysis).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product team, sales team, collection team, Admin team) to ensure financial alignment with business operations.
- Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports to senior management, including cash flow projections and variance analysis.
- Lead initiatives to improve financial systems and processes, leveraging automation tools.
- Optimize the AP workflow through automation, process improvements, and implementation of best practices.
- Monitor and manage banking relationships.
- Manage vendor onboarding and master vendor data maintenance, ensuring data accuracy.
- Manage and mentor a team of AP specialists, providing training and performance feedback
