Data Architect (Sigma Computing )

Job Description:

Data Architect is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support the company's data-driven initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

• Data Pipeline Development: Designing and implementing  efficient data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Data Modeling and  Architecture: Creating and maintaining data models, schemas, and database structures to  support analytical and operational use cases.
• Data Integration and API  Development: Building and maintaining integrations with internal and external data sources and APIs, ensuring compatibility and interoperability between      different systems and platforms.
• Data Infrastructure  Management: Configuring and managing data infrastructure components, including databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and distributed computing      frameworks.
• Collaboration and  Documentation: Working closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions, while      documenting technical designs and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Working experience in Sigma Computing
• Proficiency in programming  languages such as Python or Java.
• Strong SQL skills;  experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Experience with big data tools and distributed systems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Excellent problem-solving  and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills  and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ready to work in UK shift  (2pm-11pm IST)
