Looker Developer - BigQuery/Cloud Computing (5-12 yrs)

We are looking for Looker Developer for Bangalore (Remote) location, who can join us immediately.

Job description :

Role : Looker Developer

Experience : 5+ years

Location : Bangalore (Remote)

Technical Skills set : Looker, SQL, GCP, Cloud Composer, BQ and Sql.

Role and Responsibilities :

- Expertise in working complex SQL datasets.

- Expertise in building SQL scripts using BigQuery Syntax.

- Working experience in MSSQL and writing Stored Procedures and debugging skills.

- Experience with Cassandra DB will be a plus.

- Experience working in GCP.

- Performance tuning of BigQuery SQL scripts.

- Experience in BI development using other visualization tools is good to have.

- Working knowledge of scripting languages to allow scheduling of BI dashboards.

Required Skills :

- 2-3 years of experience in dashboard building and with LookerML build from scratch experience.

- Sql expert: to be good at working on the development side of things in Looker need to have an advanced understanding of sql.

- Experience creating visualizations in Looker.

- Looker experience with LookML.

- Building dashboards based on a wireframe defined by business user (Looker visualization).

- Creating new dimensions or measures based off data that is already available in Looker (LookML).

- Creating aggregate awareness tables in Looker development to address speed issues on dashboards (LookML).

- Create drilling/linking to enable action based on reporting (LookML and visualization).

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM model.
