Store Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Expertise in maintaining optimal stock levels, monitoring usage, and managing replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Procurement and Vendor Relations: Strong ability to assess supply needs, negotiate contracts, and build lasting relationships with suppliers for timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Stock Distribution: Efficient coordination with multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate distribution of supplies based on specific needs.
• Storage Management: Knowledge of proper storage practices, including temperature and humidity control, to ensure the safe storage of medical and non-medical items.
• Record Keeping and Documentation: High attention to detail in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and preparing regular reports.
• Budget Management: Experience in managing inventory budgets, tracking expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide, train, and motivate a team, ensuring efficient inventory operations and adherence to best practices.
• Health and Safety Compliance: In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations related to the storage and handling of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and hazardous materials.
• Quality Control: Ability to inspect incoming supplies for quality and ensure compliance with standards before accepting inventory.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in using inventory and hospital management software to track inventory, generate reports, and monitor stock levels.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and swiftly implement solutions to ensure smooth operations in the store and inventory processes.
• Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with hospital administration, department heads, and vendors for seamless operations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Location Preference: Candidates from Viluppuram, Chengalpattu, and Puducherry are preferred.
• Educational Qualifications: We welcome applications from candidates holding any UG or PG degree.
