Job Description
- Software Development: Assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying Python-based applications that align with Talrop's objectives.
- Code Maintenance: Work on maintaining and optimizing existing codebases, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior developers, product managers, and designers at Talrop to understand project requirements and contribute to solution development.
- Learning & Growth: Continuously enhance your Python and software development skills through hands-on experience and mentorship from senior team members.
- Code Reviews: Participate actively in code reviews to uphold Talrop’s commitment to excellence and share knowledge within the team.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve software bugs and issues, contributing to the stability and performance of Talrop’s products.
- Documentation: Write clear and detailed technical documentation for the solutions you develop, ensuring ease of use and future maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of Python development experience, with a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Basic knowledge of web frameworks like Django or Flask.
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Understanding of version control systems, especially Git.

Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
- Interest in or experience with educational technology solutions.
