Data Scientist - Statistical Techniques/Machine Learning Algorithms (5-9 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Data Science Developer with strong expertise in Python, statistical techniques, and machine learning algorithms to join our team. As a Data Science Developer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying scalable tools and services for machine learning training and inference. You will also maintain the infrastructure to deploy and monitor machine learning algorithms in production and apply software engineering best practices to machine learning processes.

Responsibilities :

- Statistical Techniques and Machine Learning : Apply knowledge of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to develop analytic solutions for business issues.

- Scalable Tools and Services : Develop and deploy scalable tools and services for handling machine learning training and inference.

- Infrastructure Maintenance : Maintain the infrastructure and tools for deploying and monitoring machine learning algorithms in production.

- Software Engineering Best Practices : Apply software engineering rigor, including CI/CD and automation, to machine learning processes.

- Python Development : Utilize Python with OOP concepts to create highly secure and quality production-ready code.

- Unix and Shell Scripts : Demonstrate good knowledge and work experience with Unix commands and Shell scripts.

- Predictive Analytics and NLP : Have hands-on exposure to predictive analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, and deep learning.

- Data Management : Work with structured and unstructured data, implement modern data transformation methodologies, and balance data using statistical techniques.

- Agile Environment: Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, agile development team, managing uncertainty and ambiguity.

- Cloud Experience : Experience building model training pipelines in the cloud and orchestrating predictive model deployment and management in a cloud environment.

- Data Visualization : Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders using data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or QlikView.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of extensive work experience with hands-on expertise in Python, including OOP concepts.

- Strong knowledge and work experience with Unix commands and Shell scripts.

- Expertise in software engineering principles, design patterns, code design, testing, and documentation.

- Experience with predictive analytics, NLP techniques, and machine learning algorithms.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Writing effective and scalable Python code, implementing robust and maintainable Python applications.

- Experience working in an AGILE development team.

- Comfortable operating in a Linux environment.

- Prior experience in data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or QlikView is preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations of data-driven insights.

- Industry certification in relevant data science or machine learning domains is desirable.
