Etl Test Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform backend testing, including API endpoint validation, to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
• Utilize tools like Postman to analyze API responses, validate data, and ensure functionality aligns with requirements.
• Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data validation, extraction, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and refine QA workflows and processes.
• Track, report, and manage defects in Jira, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
• Conduct regression, integration, and acceptance testing to validate updates meet expected standards.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Proven proficiency in backend testing methodologies, with a focus on API testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing, including a solid understanding of HTTP status codes, response structures, and headers.
• Strong expertise in writing SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with QA best practices, workflows, and tools like Jira for defect tracking and process management.

Must-Have Skills:

• Solid experience in backend testing with a focus on API validation.
