Job Title: Manager - Portfolio Management Associate
1. Portfolio Management and Stockbroking Operations:
Experience in portfolio management or stockbroking, particularly in managing day-to-day operational activities within a Portfolio Management Services (PMS) or stockbroking company.
2. Back-Office Operations:
In-depth understanding of back-office operations specific to Portfolio Management, including overseeing fund accounting, trade allocation, and segregation of collateral at the client level.
3. Coordination and Communication:
Daily coordination with multiple stakeholders, including custodians, trade execution teams, and back-office departments, to manage margin, collateral, and operational issues effectively.
4. Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:
Strong knowledge of exchange and SEBI compliances, such as managing NSE Compliance tasks (Internal Audit Report, Net-worth Certificate, RBS, etc.), submitting regulatory reports, and handling SEBI offsite data uploads for PMS.
5. Audit and Inspection Management:
Preparation for and handling of various internal and external audits, including SEBI inspections, system audits, exchange inspections, and coordinating with auditors for firm-level and portfolio-level audits.
6. Data and Report Management:
Regular preparation of MIS reports for management related to PMS and broking operations, including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reporting submissions to member portals.
7. Client and Customer Service Support:
Resolving customer queries related to PMS and broking accounts in collaboration with the customer service team, ensuring high-quality client support and issue resolution.
8. Fee Calculation and Accuracy Checks:
Verification and accuracy checking for management and performance fee calculations associated with PMS accounts.
9. Exchange Trade Settlement and Partner Management:
Familiarity with exchange trade settlement processes and experience in managing the registration and cancellation of referral partners with APMI.
Project and Process Management:
Experienced in overseeing various projects related to financial documentation, compliance, and new product updates, while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
