Summary :

As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for creating efficient and effective software solutions that align with the needs of the organization and its clients.

Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and developing high-quality applications that enhance business processes and improve user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Design and develop technical solutions within Oracle Utilities applications, such as CC&B, MDM, C2M, or WAM.

- Customize and configure Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) to meet business needs.

- Develop integrations between Oracle Utilities applications and external systems using technologies like Java, SOAP/REST APIs, and XAI.

- Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation and reporting.

- Support technical aspects of the system, including workflow configuration, batch job management, and performance tuning.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Oracle Utilities applications.

- Ensure compliance with security, quality, and performance standards.

- Document technical specifications, configuration changes, and solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience working with Oracle Utilities applications (e.g., CC&B, MDM, C2M, WAM).

- Proficiency in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).

- Strong experience with Java, SQL, and PL/SQL.

- Familiarity with integration technologies, such as SOAP, REST APIs, and XAI.

- Knowledge of Oracle Database architecture and performance optimization techniques.

- Experience with batch job configuration and management.

- Understanding of utility business processes, including billing, metering, and customer service.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Develop and maintain software applications based on business requirements.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand application requirements.

- Design and implement efficient and scalable software solutions.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills :

- Must To Have Skills : Proficiency in Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture.

- Good To Have Skills : Experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).

- Strong understanding of Oracle CC&B data model and architecture.

- Experience in customizing and extending Oracle CC&B functionalities.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle CC&B configuration tools and scripting languages.

- Knowledge of Oracle CC&B integration with other systems.

- Familiarity with Oracle CC&B best practices and industry standards.

- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues in Oracle CC&B.

Additional Information :

- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture.

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
