Site Reliability Engineer (2-9 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled engineer with extensive experience in software engineering and a proven track record in complex environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scaling SE teams and a deep understanding of Gitlab and Artifactory.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Collaborate with the existing SRE team to develop and maintain comprehensive runbooks for all maintenance tasks related to the applications.

2. Scale and manage Gitlab self-hosted environments, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.

3. Implement best practices for software engineering and team scaling to optimize performance and productivity.

Qualifications :

1. Proven experience in software engineering within complex environments, with a focus on scaling SE teams.

2. Demonstrated expertise in managing and scaling Gitlab self-hosted installations.

3. Familiarity with Artifactory and its integration within development workflows.

4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills :

1. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

2. Knowledge of infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.

3. Excellent communication and documentation skills, particularly in creating detailed runbooks and operational guides.
