Job Description - Fund Manager

We are hiring a Fund Manager for a boutique investment fund - StraVity. Fund will focus on both active and passive investments, across industry domains.

Incumbent will have an opportunity to be part of founding team and leading the research and analysis for all investments.

Role & Responsibilities

. Investment Analysis and Due Diligence:

- Conduct thorough financial analysis, including detailed financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis.

- Perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including market research, industry analysis, and competitive landscape assessments.

- Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.

- Be able to develop an investment thesis based on information gathered and give your own judgment.

- Evaluate potential investment and financial proposals.

- Communicate accurately and clearly with the Management team

Portfolio Management:

- Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, including tracking financial and operational metrics.

- Conduct market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in target industries.

Reporting and Documentation:

- Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, including financial analysis and strategic insights.

- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all investment activities, including due diligence materials, and financial models prepare analytical and concise written reports

Risk Management:

- Monitor and assess risks associated with portfolio companies, including market, financial, and operational risks.

Candidate Profile

- MBA/CA with min. 5 years of experience with a reputed Portfolio team

- Exposure to Research and working across sectors

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills

- Strong Research skills, report writing skills

- Confident, with ability manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines

- Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Keen interest in and understanding of financial markets
