Job Summary:

As a Senior Associate in the Ventures Department at IndiGo Ventures, you will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities. You will work closely with founders and members of the startup community to source and qualify investment leads, evaluate opportunities using our investment framework, prepare investment committee notes, oversee execution of investment documentation, and monitor the performance of our portfolio companies. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of innovative startups in our target sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source and qualify investment leads by engaging with founders and members of the startup community.

- Evaluate investment opportunities based on our investment framework, conducting thorough due diligence and financial analysis.

- Prepare investment committee notes, presenting findings and recommendations for potential investments.

- Oversee execution of investment documentation, working closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure smooth transaction processes.

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of portfolio companies, preparing internal reports and updates for senior management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support portfolio companies and identify opportunities for value creation.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Post Graduation from Tier1 institutes (MBA/PGDM preferred).

- 1-4 years of relevant work experience in venture capital, consulting, or investment banking.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with founders, investors, and internal stakeholders.

- In-depth understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.

- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, with a keen interest in the aviation, consumer, travel & lifestyle, hospitality, and transportation sectors.

Skills Required:

- Experience in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in early-stage companies.

- Familiarity with the startup ecosystem and emerging trends in relevant industries.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations related to venture capital investments.
