Sales Managers from Freight Forwarding or Liner Shipping Industry

Key purpose of the Job:

Responsible for generating Sales, Leads and Revenue in the assigned territory / vertical.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Organize and control commercial activities and guide /lead the assigned sales team.
• Understanding the product portfolio across the markets and purchase behavior of customers to gain insights on the business.
• Defining product specific target markets and preparing and executing go to market strategy for the same.
• Co-ordinate with principals & customers to drive the business.
• Managing the Sales teams for different verticals / projects
• Maximize capacity utilization / allocation.
• Constantly working towards increasing the market share
• Planning and taking care of Sales budgets
• Expanding our customer base and identifying new areas of expanding the business.
• Effectively manage people and external agencies
• Will be responsible for achieving targets, negotiating freight rates, and ensuring timely collections.
• Additional responsibilities include maintaining and updating customer records in the ERP system.

Desired Profile:

• 5 to 15 years of experience of Container Liner Sales / Ro-Ro / Project Cargo / Bulk / Break-bulk / ISO Tanks
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• In-depth knowledge of markets.
• Mature and approachable personality.
• Result oriented and focused.
