We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Applied Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics, with a proven track record of driving impactful business outcomes through scientific approaches.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Data Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field.

- Strong foundation in probability, statistics, applied mathematics, or computational science.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in analytics, data science, and big data in a business context.

- Proficiency in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Explainable AI concepts.

- Experience in adapting and developing state-of-the-art models for business-specific needs.

- Strong expertise in Probability and Statistics for data-driven insights.

- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.

- Experience with Computer Vision (e.g., OpenCV) and Natural Language Processing (e.g., spaCy).

- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and fine-tuning them on domain-specific datasets.

- Expertise in Neural Networks and deep learning techniques.

- Proficiency in programming languages like Python and SQL.

- Familiarity with distributed model training.

- Experience with Git for version control.

- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.

- Expertise in Design of Experiments for model evaluation and optimization.

- Strong data visualization and presentation skills to translate complex analyses into actionable insights.

- Experience with MLOps tools/frameworks (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow).

- Experience with ML platforms like Databricks and SageMaker.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in building Recommendation Engines, NLP, and Computer Vision solutions.

- Domain knowledge of the automotive industry.

- Experience with Spark for big data processing.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical findings to executive stakeholders.
