Key Responsibilities :
- Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for complex applications to ensure thorough test coverage and efficiency.
- Test Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with product managers and developers to define testing strategies, create detailed test cases, and prioritize testing efforts.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure that software functions as intended.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and rapid feedback. Monitor and maintain test environments.
- Performance Testing: Design and execute tests to evaluate performance and scalability under various conditions.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior SDETs and QA engineers, promoting best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including strategies, plans, and results.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in software testing and test automation.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to articulate technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven ability to mentor and work collaboratively in a team environment.
