Business Strategy Analyst (5-7 yrs)

Job Purpose:

As a Business Strategy Analyst at Sporos Capital, you will play an integral role in supporting investment decisions and helping shape the strategic direction of our portfolio companies. You will work closely with senior leadership to evaluate market opportunities, develop growth strategies, and implement operational improvements that drive sustainable value. This position provides a unique opportunity to influence key decisions at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations across a diverse portfolio of businesses.

Job Responsibilities:

- Market & Industry Research: Conduct detailed research on industries, competitors, and market trends to support the identification and evaluation of potential investment opportunities.

- Strategic Analysis: Assist in developing long-term growth strategies for portfolio companies, including market expansion, new product development, and operational optimization.

- Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain financial models to assess the performance and potential of target companies, including scenario analysis and sensitivity testing.

- Investment Due Diligence: Support the investment team in conducting comprehensive due diligence, analyzing company performance, and identifying risks and opportunities for value creation.

- Operational Value Creation: Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to identify and implement strategic and operational initiatives aimed at improving business performance and unlocking value.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of portfolio companies, assisting in the development of KPIs and reporting metrics to track progress against strategic goals.

- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including investment committees, LPs, and portfolio company boards.
