Role Overview:
The Manager - HR will be responsible for leading key HR functions, including Performance Management System (PMS), Succession Planning, Talent Acquisition (TA), and overall HR operations. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the alignment of HR strategies with the company's goals and objectives, while also fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management System (PMS):
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's PMS, ensuring alignment with business objectives and individual employee goals.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions for managers and employees on performance appraisal processes, feedback mechanisms, and goal-setting techniques.
- Monitor and evaluate performance data to recommend improvements in the PMS.
- Work with leadership to ensure performance reviews are conducted on time and in a consistent, objective manner.
Talent Acquisition (TA):
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the company attracts and hires top talent for various roles across the organization.
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to meet the hiring needs of the company.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and the talent pool to ensure the right fit.
- Oversee sourcing, interviewing, and selection processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in hiring.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics to ensure hiring targets are met.
Succession Planning:
- Design and implement a succession planning strategy to ensure the company has a robust pipeline of leaders for key roles.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify high-potential employees and create development plans to ensure their growth.
- Regularly assess and update succession plans in alignment with business objectives and talent requirements.
- Monitor progress and provide recommendations for addressing any skill gaps or leadership shortfalls.
Overall HR Operations:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, HR policies, and compliance with labor laws.
- Provide support for employee development initiatives, ensuring employees have access to training and career advancement opportunities.
- Partner with business leaders to drive employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction processes for new employees, fostering a positive experience.
- Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution, maintaining a fair and balanced approach.
HR Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare and analyze HR reports, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and training effectiveness.
- Use data to recommend strategies for improving HR processes and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on performance management, talent acquisition, and succession planning in an e-commerce or fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience with designing and implementing performance management systems and succession planning strategies.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a high-growth, e-commerce, or technology-driven environment.
