Copywriter (1-2 yrs)

Responsibilities:

- Seek to strengthen every brand's communication standpoint

- Work with the visual team and help them visualize to get your ideas across

- Break down creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through the execution of assigned brands

- Come up with campaign concepts and original ideas, and build stories along with the creative & marketing team

- Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings

- Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials

- Write copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, and online

- Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action

- Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand

- Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts

- Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial and digital sphere

Experience required:

- 1-2 years of copywriting experience (internships would be considered too) either in an advertising/marketing agency or in a brand's marketing/advertising department.

- Experience with writing copy for brands across touchpoints

- A copy portfolio that showcases the best of your style and work experience

Preferred Knowledge:

- Basic knowledge on campaign phases and marketing concepts

- Content marketing experience

- Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides would be a plus

Other preferred Traits:
