Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior JD Edwards (JDE) CNC Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in JD Edwards implementations, specializing in managing, upgrading, and maintaining the CNC architecture of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and end-users to streamline business processes, ensure smooth system upgrades, and provide ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

• JDE Implementation & Upgrade: Lead and support upgrades from JDE World to JDE EnterpriseOne, ensuring minimal downtime during transitions.
• Installation & Maintenance: Perform Tools Release Installations, package builds, and system deployments across Windows, Oracle, and iSeries environments.
• Security & User Maintenance: Manage user access, configure security settings, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Server Management: Install, configure, and manage Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, and Microsoft Servers.
• iSeries Administration: Oversee the operation and availability of iSeries platforms.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and troubleshoot performance issues within the JDE CNC infrastructure, including database and web servers.
• Package Builds & Deployments: Coordinate package builds, deployments, and security tasks within the JDE CNC environment.
• Client/Server Architecture: Design, develop, test, and support JDE client/server applications to maintain optimal performance of EnterpriseOne.
• Business Solution Development: Work directly with end-users to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement technical solutions.
• Documentation & Support: Maintain comprehensive documentation on configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps to ensure system stability.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Qualities:

• JDE CNC Expertise: Hands-on experience with JDE CNC (Configurable Network Computing), including installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Upgrade Experience: Proven track record in managing JDE World to JDE EnterpriseOne upgrades.
• System Management: Strong expertise in Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Microsoft Server Administration, and iSeries Administration.
• Package Build & Deployment: Proficiency in managing package builds and deployments in JDE CNC environments.
• Security & User Maintenance: Knowledge of JDE security configuration and user access management.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot issues related to EnterpriseOne database and webserver configurations.
• Client/Server Architecture: Expertise in designing, testing, and maintaining client/server applications for JDE EnterpriseOne.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication skills to work directly with end users and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in JD Edwards (JDE) implementations.
• Skills: Strong JD Edwards CNC expertise, with hands-on experience in installation, upgrades, and system maintenance.
• System Administration: Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server, IBM WebSphere Server, Microsoft Server Administration, and iSeries Administration.
• Business Process Improvement: Ability to work directly with end users to improve business processes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
