Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Accounting:
  
• Maintain and manage general ledgers, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts.
• Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind-AS) and regulatory requirements.
• GST and Taxation:
  
• Handle GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and ensure timely filing of taxes.
• Support in preparing tax calculations and filing of Income Tax returns for individuals and corporate entities.
• Maintain tax records and assist in audits (both internal and statutory).
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  
• Process invoices, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables, coordinate collections, and prepare aging reports.
• Manage petty cash and ensure correct accounting of all transactions.
• Banking and Cash Flow Management:
  
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper posting of transactions in the accounting system.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare periodic cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
• Audit & Compliance:
  
• Assist in internal and statutory audits, preparing audit schedules, and providing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare and file necessary returns in accordance with government requirements.
• Reporting:
  
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Support in variance analysis and provide financial insights.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory and management reports as required.

• Professional Experience:
  
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on Indian taxation, GST, and financial reporting.
• Experience working with Indian accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.) and MS Excel.
• Technical Skills:
  
• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, Income Tax) and accounting standards (Ind-AS).
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP systems, etc.).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and statutory compliance.
