Taxation: Manage tax planning and compliance for individuals and organizations, including filing tax returns, advising on tax regulations, and ensuring the companys compliance with local and international tax laws.
Audit Management: Oversee internal and external audits, liaise with auditors, and ensure all audit requirements are met with accuracy and timeliness.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, monitor performance against budgets, and provide recommendations to senior management.
Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis and interpret financial data to support decision-making, identify trends, and recommend strategies to improve financial performance.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to regulatory standards, laws, and financial policies, while maintaining a strong understanding of any changes in accounting and taxation laws.
Advisory: Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to senior management to drive business growth, cost-efficiency, and profitability.
Accounts Management: Oversee general accounting processes including managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and payroll.
Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard the company’s financial integrity.
Team Leadership: Supervise junior accountants and provide mentoring and training to ensure high standards of accounting practices.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
A Certified Chartered Accountant (CA)
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is typically required.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of financial accounting, auditing standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
