About the Job :

ScatterPie is looking for an experienced Tableau developer for the Mumbai location with excellent SQL, Tableau Desktop, data visualization, and Tableau Server skills to build and maintain complex business dashboard and data visualization solutions on Tableau Product Suite.

In this role, you should have a strong background in business intelligence, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and SQL. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator. If you also have business acumen and problem-solving aptitude, we'd like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will enhance our clients' business intelligence system by delivering fast and reliable data pipelines to be used by the data analysis team.

What will you do :

Non-technical Aspects :

- Work directly with the client team to gather and document business requirements.

- Convert business requirements into clear and crisp technical requirements.

- Work with business analysts to validate business logic and data accuracy.

- Create and maintain documentation for your work and delivery.

- Mentor Junior Data Analysts and Intern Analysts.

Technical Aspects :

- Development of fully dynamic Tableau dashboards without any hard-coding.

- Write SQL queries to fetch data from the database to build dashboards.

- Build an efficient data model either in Tableau Prep or using custom SQL.

- Apply row-level security.

Aesthetic Aspects :

- Design Tableau dashboard wireframes based on the requirement.

- Create visually appealing Tableau dashboards.

- Follow data visualization best practices.

- Choose the right type of chart for every business question.

Eligibility for application :

Must-have requirements (Please do not apply if you do not fit this criterion) :

- Have a Bachelors or above degree in engineering, finance or economics.

- Total 6 years or more working experience in analytics/BI domain.

- At least 3 years of working experience in Tableau Desktop.

- At least 3 years of working experience in Tableau Server including RLS implementation.

- At least 3 years' experience in MySQL.

- Advanced Excel knowledge.

- Basic knowledge of Tableau Prep.

- A thorough and clear understanding of data visualization best practices.

- Like to build reliable software engineering solutions.

Good-to-have requirements (Having these skills, in addition, will get you an edge in the selection process).

- Working knowledge of Alteryx.

- Working knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS.
