Tableau Developer - Data Analytics (5-8 yrs)

Job Role : BI Analyst - Visualization (Tableau Developer).

Experience & Education : Around 5-8 years in similar position and ability to cope up with highly challenging and fast changing analytical arena.

Summary of Job :

- Translate customer requirements into technical requirements.

- Extract data from multiple data sources.

- Analyze data to identify known and unknown data relationships and patterns.

- Reviews queries for performance issues, making changes as needed.

- Create technical documentation of report logic and processes.

- Develop Tableau workbooks that satisfy user's analytic and intelligence requirements.

- Deploy workbooks to Tableau server environments.

- Reuse data components.

- Support integration of workbooks into enterprise applications (if required).

- Design, Develop, and implement dashboard data update/refresh process.

- Develop/enhance/re-engineer Analytical Applications in Tableau.

- Develop required process documentation and adhere to security compliance.

Primary Skills :

- Minimum 5 years of experience developing BI Solutions using Tableau (Preferably Tableau certified) on large enterprise data sets.

- Strong data extraction & SQL query skills.

- Experience in developing visualization on other tools like Power BI, SE Intel.

- Strong understanding of Tableau platform & framework to design and implement proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualizations.

- Strong understanding of Data integration,.

- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to convert complex data into effective displays that are consumable by end users.

- Collaborate effectively with other team members while involved in multiple work streams.

- Manage run and support, change and enhancement requests, mentor junior members of the team, data office support & compliance.

Preferred Knowledge :

- Tableau, SQL, Power BI, ThoughtSpot.

- Informatica.

- AWS, S3, Redshift, SQL Server, DBeaver, SSMS.

- Experience in working on Supply Chain, Customer Satisfaction & Quality metrics and processes.

Essential Functions :

- Developing Tableau Dashboards.

- Understanding business requirements and prepare specification & design documents.

- Handle end-to-end solutioning and development.

- Well versed with Data Warehouses schemas & architecture.

- Frequent client and end user interaction.
