Commis Chef Pastry

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure daily food preparations meet outlined recipes including the portion size, quality, and quantity
• Order execution with plating for dine-in orders and packaging for delivery orders
• Assist the senior chefs in the creation of desserts and menu development
• Adhere to the food labeling and dating (FIFO) method
• Keep track of the inventory and stock of raw materials
• Work with the team and delegate tasks to interns
• Enable the team to maintain a clean and organized work area
• Think proactively by finding opportunities to improve processes

Preferred candidate profile

• 0-4 years of working experience in the baking industry (Commis- 3 or 2 or 1 based on experience and skill levels)
• Must have a diploma from a pastry school
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Learning and Growth Mindset
• Highly motivated and passionate about baking
• Should be up to date with current food trends

Shift Timings
Please select your preference while applying. Our operations run across multiple shifts:

• Day Shift (8 AM - 4 PM, 10 AM - 6 PM, and 12 PM - 8 PM) : These shifts may be more suited for candidates with daytime availability.
• Night Shift (3 PM - 11 PM) and Overnight shift (10 PM - 6 AM) : These shifts may suit candidates who are comfortable working late hours and can manage night travel independently.
