Name of the Role: ServiceNow Solution Architect Expert Architect
Purpose of the function role ServiceNow Solution Architect is responsible for the overall design of the ServiceNow platform applications on the platform and mapping client business requirements from the project to systems technical requirements
Support the team to design as well as deliver the overall and complete solution for the customer need
Tasks Core tasks specification of role mentioned above what does this mean
Establish an enterprise wide technical architecture and implementation strategy for ServiceNow projects
Engage with client to assess current state process and tools identify ServiceNow platform solution option define ServiceNow solution requirements determine and define integration requirement
Lead and deliver requirements scoping and design workshops
Ensure requirements are well documented and reviewed periodically to make sure they meet customer need
Provide expert level support and technical mentoring to implementation team
Maintain deep comprehensive knowledge about ServiceNow capabilities and constraints
Scope and deliver Proof of Concept with prospects
Respond to customers Request for Information Proposal
In conjunction with sales personnel and professional services conduct transition briefing communicate commitments expectations etc
Act as the ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert at business marketing event
Plan and coordinate all phases of testing and user acceptance design and oversee development of testing related work products and lead test remediation cycles
Recognize and develop opportunities to leverage ServiceNow as a platform
Develop and present business case material for senior prospect and customer stakeholders
Create and deliver tailored presentations and product demonstrations
Contribute to ServiceNow practice initiative like recruitment hackathon team building events etc
Competencies Which demands competencies does this role have to properly execute its responsibilities e g professional competencies soft skills and method competencies as well as potentially relevant working experience education and foreign languages
More than 12 years of experience in IT
5 years of experience as a ServiceNow solution Architect
Experience working as ServiceNow developer will be preferred
End to end ServiceNow solutioning and implementation experience is must
Experience facilitating client facing workshops to successfully progress initiatives into the next phase of development lifecycle
Candidate with three Implementation Certification and or hands on experience in any ServiceNow modules like ITSM CMDB ITOM Strategic Portfolio Management HRSD GRC SecOps FSM Service Portal CSM etc will be preferred
Excellent understanding of Now platform administration capabilities user interface and security
Experience to create cloning and upgrade strategy
Fluency in third party integrations using web services JDBC and file based parsers
Strong people development skills including coaching and mentoring for technical roles
Ability to quickly understand new technology through instruction and self training
Engaging presentation style with the ability to control and manage multiple presentation scenarios
Experience in Scrum and Agile way of working
Self motivated passionate and resourceful
Proven team player and team builder
ServiceNow Admin Certification CSA is mandatory
Candidate having any of the below certification will be preferred
Certified Application Developer CAD
Certified Implementation Specialists CIS any module
ITIL Foundation
