We are currently seeking a HVAC Lead Engineer to join our Chennai Team, and this position will be directly reporting to Packages HOD.

About the mission we offer you:

The HVAC Lead Engineer will be responsible to Lead HVAC jobs in local & international projects (EPC, EPCM & PMC projects). This role involves leading a team of engineers, performing HVAC design deliverables, preparing tender documents, finalizing vendor selection, reviewing vendor documents, co-ordinating with client and other engineering disciplines for necessary inputs .

Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 08 to 12 years of experience in HVAC systems design in oil and gas or similar industry projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good knowledge and understanding in design aspects all type of HVAC System Design. Good exposure to local and international standards requirement.

• Preparation of HVAC Design deliverables such as
  • HVAC Design Basis,
  • HVAC Specifications,
  • HVAC load, air flow rate and equipment capacity calculations using Excel tables and HAP software,
  • HVAC Flow schemes & instrument diagrams,
  • HVAC Equipment layouts, and single line duct layout,
  • HVAC Control schematic, etc.
• HVAC Equipment selection, HVAC layout study and HVAC room sizing.
• Preparation of material requisition / tender documents for HVAC systems.
• HVAC Vendor offer review and responding to vendor technical queries.
• Preparation of Technical bid evaluations for HVAC Vendor offers.
• Review of Client s technical documents and requirements. Replying to Client queries.
• Conducting periodic review meetings with HVAC Vendors and Client.
• Attending internal project co-ordination meetings.
• Reviewing and approving of vendors documents for complete HVAC system design.
• Leading / working with Team of engineers to achieve various job requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant local and international standards.
