The purpose of this position is to lead the Projects portfolio in HPS LSS India and ensuring delivery as per AOP & meeting deliverables as per customer timelines and satisfaction.
Lead the local skills development, information sharing and project management discipline necessary to the deliver Projects in a timely manner at planned gross margins or higher.
Area of Responsibility
Key Activities/Elements
1. Management
Overall responsibility for completing Projects at country level.
Ensures on time delivery of projects, within scope with zero or positive deviation.
Lead and manage LSS projects operations team in the effective adoption, implementation and compliance with HPS GPMO guidelines, APAC policies, processes, procedures, tools and business best practices.
2. Customer Satisfaction
Maintains customer s satisfaction at acceptable levels and promptly resolves customer issues.
3.Finance
Ownership for Projects financial performance and monitors financial performance on a monthly basis and reviews estimates versus actuals across LSS projects to continuously improve Projects operational metrics.
4.Cost Control & Productivity
Effectively leads the implementation of productivity enhancing process changes related to project delivery.
Responsible for driving costs down to be competitive in the market place. Controls cost and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods and standard processes.
Ensures the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required while maintaining and controlling inventory levels.
5.Estimate and Risk Reviews
Participate in estimate review process prior to jobs being quoted to ensure labour estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective. Ensure that subcontracts, where applicable, are complete and documented.

6.Resouce Planning
Ensures projects are resourced properly. Develops effective partnerships with subcontractors to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available. Manages selection and oversight of subcontractors for different jobs in conjunction, where appropriate, with supply team.
Partner with other Projects Leaders to ensure that the most effective resources are allocated to projects within and outside the district.
7.Team Building / Communication
Builds effective project coordination teams committed to organizational goals, foster collaboration among team members and between other functional teams.
Develop strong relationships with Sales and Projects Leaders so as ensure, effective sales to operations handovers, optimised utilisation of resources, and maximised pull through of Projects and projects.
9.Change Management
Be the change management leader for team and aggressively implement agreed to initiatives.
10.Health, Safety and statutory compliance
Ensure applicable local and industry codes and standards are upheld.
Ensures that Honeywell SOPs are in place and adhered to.
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through effective communication, training, equipment/vehicle maintenance and facilities improvement. Manage safety program for assigned field operation.

Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
Graduate with preferably Engineering in Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Electronics
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
10- 15 years of experience in DCS/SCADA/PLC/ESD projects execution as engineer, lead engineer or project management
Thorough knowledge of Projects operations and financial processes.
Demonstrated ability to lead a project execution team.
Shall be having experience in managing LSS migration projects blended with HCI and cyber solutions
Shall be able to execute quick turn around LSS projects especially with PSU s like NTPC, HPCL, IOCL and ONGC etc
Shall have the experience of handling projects with EPC / PMC consultants like EIL, TOYO, L&T, Technip, Thyssen etc
Shall have deep understanding of working capital and analyse current LSS INDIA business metrics and take actions for continuous improvement
Technical understanding of LSS legacy systems like TPS, HPM, LCN and HCI -PHD, APC and Alarm manager will be added advantage

Influencing/Persuasion - The ability to gain other people s buy in to a course of action by communicating ideas with conviction, selling the benefits of the proposal and using compelling logic.
Communication - The ability to engage employees by providing relevant information in a timely manner using clear and compelling messages and by listening to and valuing input from employees.
Drive for Results - The ability to demonstrate energy and determination to achieve results and improvement by overcoming obstacles, remaining effective despite setbacks and challenging current thinking.
