LIMS Engineer - SampleManager (7-9 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

System Administration :

- Manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of the SampleManager LIMS environment (version 11+).

- Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.

- Ensure system stability, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Technical Support :

- Provide expert technical support to end-users on all aspects of SampleManager LIMS functionality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data entry, workflow execution, and system configurations.

- Assist with user training and provide ongoing support to end-users.

System Enhancements :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement system enhancements and customizations.

- Develop and implement custom solutions using C# and VGL coding languages.

- Participate in system upgrades and migrations.

Data Management :

- Perform data entry, data validation, and data migration tasks as needed.

- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data retrieval, updates, and loading.

System Maintenance :

- Manage Windows Server environments, including IIS installation, services configuration, registry configuration, and printer configuration.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 7+ years of hands-on experience with SampleManager LIMS (version 11+).

- Proven experience with at least 3 successful SampleManager LIMS implementation projects.

- Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, performing data updates, and loading data.

- Strong experience with C# coding, with a focus on SampleManager customizations.

- Advanced knowledge of VGL coding language, including debugging and troubleshooting.

- Experience with Windows Server Administration, including IIS, services, and registry configuration.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other LIMS systems.

- Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
