Roles and Responsibilities

System Engineer: Configuration and management of Linux systems, IT security, automation through scripts, application deployment

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of any operating systems, IT equipment and technologies,
• Knowledge of OSI Layer and TCP/IP networking
• Experience in securing and working with any operating systems like windows, RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc. and any hypervisors like VMWare, Ovirt, etc.
• Knowledge of any of security solutions such as EDR/XDR/NDR, SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, DLP, Antivirus, Endpoint security, etc
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows & UNIX /Linux based software
• Experience of any creating scripts (e.g. using Perl, Shell, Python) and setting up of software for automation
• Able to assess, analyse, customize, automate and troubleshoot with any tools, opensource software, commercial software, etc. for organizational requirements.
• Must have excellent reporting and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral/written communication and documentation skills,
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Candidate should be willing to travel anywhere in India for support activities. Should be able to handle the clients efficiently for deployment of C-DOT solutions.
• Open to learn the new technologies
• Working knowledge and willing to track the resolution of issues on Ticket Monitoring system with stringent response time

Certification

a) Any certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISA, CEH, ECSA, SSCP , RHCE or MCSE shall be an advantage.

b) Knowledge and experience with Active Directory (AD) server and LDAP will have an added advantage

c) Experience and familiarity with information security tools and concepts will have an added advantage
