SysTechCorp - Senior Engineer/Tech Lead - Scala/Apache Spark (10-12 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of talented Scala engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing development environment.

- Architect, design, and develop scalable and efficient data processing solutions utilizing Scala and Apache Spark.

- Integrate with Adobe tools and services to create a seamless data pipeline and enhance user experience.

- Define and implement best practices for code quality, maintainability, and testing.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Identify and implement innovative approaches to solve complex data challenges.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Scala, Spark, and Adobe technologies.

- Contribute to the overall technical vision and strategy for our team.

Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Scala and functional programming.

- Proven expertise in designing and developing scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark.

- Extensive knowledge of Spark core, SQL, streaming, and MLlib functionalities.

- Experience with integrating Scala applications with Adobe tools and services (Bonus points!).

- Strong understanding of distributed computing principles and Big Data concepts.

- Excellent leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills at all levels.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time and within budget
