Job Description:
The Panaya Tester is responsible for using the Panaya testing platform to plan, execute, and manage testing activities for enterprise applications, such as SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce. This role involves validating system changes, ensuring quality, and supporting efficient test management processes to reduce risks during application updates, migrations, or implementations. The Panaya Tester collaborates with development teams, business analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning and Preparation: o Use the Panaya platform to define and plan testing strategies for application updates or new implementations. o Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document test requirements. o Set up test environments and ensure readiness for execution.
2. Test Case Development: o Create detailed and reusable test cases in Panaya based on functional and technical specifications. o Ensure test cases align with business requirements and cover all critical scenarios.
3. Test Execution and Defect Management: o Execute test cases and log results within the Panaya platform. o Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers for resolution. o Perform regression testing to ensure system stability after changes.
4. Test Automation and Optimization: o Leverage Panayas automation capabilities to streamline repetitive test processes. o Optimize test cycles by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and coverage.
5. Collaboration and Reporting: o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure alignment and resolve issues. o Generate and share test progress reports, dashboards, and metrics using Panaya tools.
6. Quality Assurance: o Validate that system changes meet business requirements and do not negatively impact existing functionality. o Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and industry best practices.
7. Support Continuous Improvement: o Provide feedback to enhance the testing process and improve testing effectiveness. o Stay updated on Panaya platform updates and testing trends, incorporating them into workflows.
Preferred candidate profile
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with other test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or TestRail. • ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing. •
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting. • Knowledge of integration and change management processes
Technical Expertise:
Hands-on experience with Panaya test management and automation tools. o Familiarity with enterprise systems like SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce.
Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
